Tester

So last night I made dinner, and then sat down for dinner with U.S. Senator Jon Tester, his wife, and Ethon's family. Jon and his wife Sharla are old friends of Ethon's family from when they lived in Montana. They were in St. Louis yesterday for some fund raiser, and everyone thought it a good idea to get together to do dinner. Since Ethon's parents really enjoyed my pork and potatoes I made for them one time I was asked to make that for everyone. I was able to get off work so I did. We gathered and had dinner at Cindy's house (she is so wonderful). After dinner Jon, John, Sharla, and Carole played pinochle in the sun room while the rest of us watched. Jon is very down to earth, and funny. Cindy took a photo of the whole gang. Braska has talked about it on her page too it you want to hear what she said about it. It was a very enjoyable evening.

Dinner was great too. It isn't everyday you cook for a senator.

I didn't think it was great. Maybe good enough for a Congressman but not a Senator.
